Well for one the trip comp is on the standard 172 spec even the cup has one and every 172 i've seen including imports have had the normal rs dialset so I was just curious as to why this one was different.al said:If you look carefully, that's where the last mark on the dial is, 7250rpm.
Why would it be a hinderance?

And the last mark may be 7250rpm but its practically off the gauge and they look crap compared to the normal 172 dials, the red needles and the 8k tacho look so much better and the speedo isn't the rs one. The white dials just remind me of a poverty spec courtesy car.
May not be a problem in your eyes but if i'd annoy the hell out of me, would put me off buying it unless it was silly cheap.
Gazeratti said:No theres no trip computer on a import, but then again you dont buy a 172 to no your MPG

bmh.01 said:The dial colour is down to personal opinion as the white dials look cheap and naff imo.
