gear box warranty

are gear boxes under warrenty a 05 182 with 25000 i think its knacked as last night i changed from 3 to 4 with out putting my cluch down

when your clutch brakes you can still drive you 172 around with no clutch, chaning gears easily if u don't have traffic jams.

depends what the actual problem is, as it could be the clutch cable, the clutch, the way you drive, then possibly the gearbox, i would say that they wouldn't cover it, unless the car was very new and very low mileage

well when it in gear driving there is still a lot of movement in the gear lever more than there used to be a lot more what could this be gear box or clucth and is it worth while getting an uprated clucth rather than putting a standard one back in
 
lever movement won't be the clutch - maybe the linkages under the car or the selector forks in the box? i'd take it to an indie specialist for a diagnosis.

gearbox will be covered under the statutory new car warranty (but that only lasts for a year, unless you extended it)
