gear change indicator

alrighty

i have had my clio 172 cup for a week now, are these cars supposed to have a optimum gear change indicator on them? if so, where is it located? i have not noticed one so far, unless the previous owner has taken the bulb out.

its called a shift light and if its anything like a s2000 then the whole dash lights up red

Its not a light showing the optimum its a light warning you of the impending limiter.

Little green gear stick light bot right of the dash near the rev counter, shows up when you first turn the ignition on to so easy to spot.

Would be good if there was a beep with it too. Trying to see the little green light is almost impossible!
