Gear Knob change

My daughter has just got her first car a 2003 1.2 dynamique which she absolutly loves. However the person who had it before put a ripspeed gear knob on it now she wants to change it for a Richbook emblem gear knob. Can any one tell me how to get the ripspeed one off? it has 6 allen key bolts in the top Ive taken them out but it doesn't seem to loosen the thing. I don't want to start pulling and twisting it incase I bust the gear stick.

The original renault ones are glued on so I'm guessing this one is too.

is there not a lower collar to screw off and reveal a grub screw... on my richbrook one the hole is plain to see on the back there is a grub screw inside.

Thanks v-much for the info. I've had another look at the gear knob and it had a hidden grub screw under a rubber grip band around it. So all is great now, can remove the gear knob and fit the Richbrook she wants. Thanks again the info was really helpful.
