Gear knob removal

Easiest way to remove gear knob?
Is a hack-saw the only way?? :dapprove:

i had to use a hacksaw to get it off and then used a hammer to put it on and ended up knocking out the circlip holding on the gearstick and had to remove the exhaust then drop the gearstick down from underneath the car to sort it!
