Gear Knob

Hi guys, my gear knob insert is looking a bit worn and dirty, I can't decide if I should keep the actual gear knob or change it to a different one or just replace the insert!

Any opinions or advice welcome,
And where can I buy either of those.

Ph2 Clio knobs have to be hacked off as they're glued on,
easier to just replace the insert.

Thank you so how do I get the original insert out! Just prise it out with a screwdriver? Or?

Not sure to be honest mate as I've yet to buy one. However, I know a few people on here have them, so hopefully somebody will be able to confirm...

I have the above gear knob, it has a screw to hold it in place. Much nicer than the standard one.

So how does it work with the reverse being lift? Can you just leave the lift plate and replace the knob?

Yeah, the lifter's separate from the knob.
