Gear Ratios

Good morning guys,

Is it possible to inform me about the gear ration of the 172 MK1.

Does anyone know if i can shorten my gearbox using a crown wheel and pinion from the OLD clio 1.4 S?

You could but you'd lower all ratios and I don't see any real point. Also the 1.4 gearbox isn't as stong so you'd prbably break it. I don't have the gearbox ratio stuff to hand but I think it would be lower.
