Gear selection issues

Was having trouble changing gear in 1st and 2nd so i decided to take it to the garage to get it sorted. Bloke at the garage says straight away that it was the clutch so i said ok and let him do his business.

After fitting, changing gear was only slightly better but did not remedy the problem. Just today was driving around and s**t...thought i was gonna bend the gear stick it was that hard to get into gear. 1st and 2nd is alomst impossible to get into and reverse now crunches where it didnt before.

Is my gearbox fluffed? Gear change when engine off is fine. As soon as u start it up...stiff as fcuk.

Thanks for all of your replies...helped a lot....NOT! All these members and not 1 reply. Turns out one of the springs on the clutch plate had come loose. Luckily the garage that fitted it, fit it well within a year ago and its got a years guarantee so there gonna replace it.

Quite odd you didn't get a reply to this, but remember not everyone is a mechanic (despite an abundance of self proclaimed geniuses).

Glad its sorted though..
