gearbox and clutch?

if all gearboxes on mk2's are interchangable 1.2-1.4-1.5dci-16 boxes all would fit,
what about the clutchs??
would all clio clutchs fit?:S

Clutches differ, the boxes will physically fit but vary as regards to ratio etc massively.

ive got a 1.4 16v box for my 16 16v and im just needing a clutch basically

The 1.4 uses a JB1 box whereas the 1.6 uses a JB3 box, ratios will be different and the JB1 is a weaker box. You'd get away with it but I wouldn't use it personally, if you've killed a box already then i'd imagine this one will follow.
