1.6 K4M, uses a JB3 standard, what boxes will fit straight on with similar ish ratios? Need one for today and struggling TBH.....

The main differences in ratios come when u use a 'box from a diesel car on a petrol engine, or vice versa.

What do you use the car for?

You could use JB3 off megane/clio/etc

or JC5 from megane/kangoo/etc

just check if the top-mount is different, and if it is, get the one from the donor car/box.

Use the car daily and will be on track a lot in the future.

So if the mount to box is different (bolt spacing being smaller?) as long as I use the whole mount inc. threaded bolt etc it'll fit?

Valver one included? Winston has said that he doesnt think they fit? Can get a valver one today if so which is a massive bonus, lol.

im 99% sure that if you use a valver jb3 box with the mk1 top mount, it will fit.
