Gearbox compatibility??

Hi Guys and Girls,

Need a little help if you can!!

I have a clio 1.4 16v, of which the gearbox went a few weeks ago... The shot gear box is a Code: JB1 510...

I have managed to locate another gearbox from a 1.2 16v, which is Code: JB1 513
A) Will it fit and work?

B) What will it affect?

Sorry if this sounds like a rookie question, but I am a rookie!!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Yes it shall fit only thing you shall notice is lower top end due to different gear ratios

what rockers182 said....lower top end but faster acceleration (prob not noticeable in a 1.4)
