Gearbox/driveshaft bolt threaded! :(

Hi guys, after changing a CV Boot yesterday one of the 3 tripod bolts has sheared/Threaded in my gearbox.

Does anyone have anything they can suggest.

Has this happened to anyone before??

Which one? The one at 11 o'clock, 3 o'clock or 7 o'clock?

I bet it's the three o'clock, always the bloody three o'clock.

Tap a new thread and fit a new bolt, surely?

A garage should be able to tap a new thread and fit a different bolt I'd imagine.

Im an engineer we have taps at work should be an M8 x 1.25 so i could drill and tap it to M10 x 1.50 or helicoil it.
