Gearbox Gasket

Does anyone know if on the 172 gearbox to bellhousing gasket, can you use a paper gasket or gasket liquid or does it have to be the proper one?

are you just joining the box back to the block? if so no gasket is used. if your joining the bell housing back together then its a silicone gasket

yeah its for the bellhousing to the gearbox, can i use liquid gasket on it ?

When I rebuild mine theres no gasket you use a specific renault sealant (may be other options), was about £10 from the stealers get more than enough to do the job.
