Gearbox issues?

Has anyone had similar?

When changing from second to third gear at high revs (speedy change) i get a slight crunching sound, i believe this to be a worn 3rd gear syncro what do you guys reckon?
It never does it under normal driving only when giving it beans......

The gearbox will not be being changed as i will live with it until it dies but it does bore me lots.

I suppose it could be clutch but i think ist very doubtful given all other gears are fine.

Oh its done 32k miles.

the jc5 box is rubbish ive been through 3 in the last 12k miles 2 used ones and 1 fully re-ferbed one

If its a common problem no point in risking a second hand box then, whats a new one go for?

That seems very cheap, i payed that 2nd hand for a Lancia Integrale box surely that cant be correct can it? and thats deffo for a , 2002, 172 sport

they're £850ish on exvhange from renault

our box rebuilder charges around £300 to give you an idea
