Gearbox oil

k my gearbox/clutch is sounding a bit dodgy and was wondering if n e one knew where the gearbox oil is kept so that i can check its levels cheers? (ps im no mechanic)

if you get under the car you can see where you need to get to mate. theres a plug on the back of the box to drain it from and one on the front to fill it back up through. they are supposed to be sealed for life though meaning you dont need to change the oil but its not a bad idea to do it.

cheers ill hava look bit dificult to get under the car tho its about < 4" off the deck lol

there was a batch of new 1.2 16v clios that had a low oil level from the factory. there is an actis solution about so if your that worried let your dealer have a listen.
