gearbox on way out????

Just got back from hols,took 172 ff out for a drive and have a noise from the fns of the car.when i press the clutch the noise is gone. gearbox on way out??? any help please?

release bearing by the sound of it, nothing to worry about, just annoying

I Had a refurbed gearbox that did this.

so is this a new clutch to cure as is quite a loud noise on the 1 side !! cheers

I fucked the input shaft on my box and stripped most of the spring lever things off the pressure plate on an old punto run around by ignoring it, only drove it for 1-2 weeks too lol
