Hi,
I have a Clio 1.8 16V and a L plate ('94).
While driving today i noticed i could not get 3rd gear, it will not go in and seems to stop short. Also, while driving up to a round about i took my foot of the gas and the car jumped out of 5th.
Since this morning there has been some oil coming out of the bottom of the car near the clutch area. The car also makes a horrible sound in 1st gear...
Do i have a couple of problems here? ie... oil leak from gearbox seal and another problem getting gears?
Any ideas what the problem could be? To some up it's hard / impossible to get 1st, 3rd and 5th... and have oil leak...
If the gear box is dead, how much in a recon and where could i get one?
