Gearbox Question

I need to replace my Gearbox as it started going west sometimes time ago now. I have managed to source a box, at what seems to be a reasonable price. But my question is this, does it really need to be a sport box? Is there any difference between the sport and standard?

what's the box that you're looking at from? the smaller engined cars are going to have different gear ratios

The sport has a JC5 which is the stroingest in the range its also fitted to 80dci though as well but the ratios would be all strange for the car second would go to 72 for examble and third to over 100.
