Whilst on holiday, i think my gearbox went. Rang out the AA and they towed me back and said i needed a new gearbox. The car is going to a garage tomorrow so i'm looking around at the moment for a possible replacement.
I've read on here in a few places that there are different ones for a 1.6 16v engine? My car is a mk2 ph2, is there a specific box to get or would it be alright to just get any from a certain range?
If someone would be able to shed some light would really appreciate it!
