GEARBOX sensor connection ,Temperature or level ?

Im just in the middle of connecting up my wiring loom and i am struggling to connect up the the sensor on the bottom side of the gearbox.

seems pretty tight on length ???

not sure if there is a particular route of the loom and is it tight on length ?

It's the reverse switch sensor.

Should be plenty of slack. Loom goes below the upper gearbox mount.

Ahh ok . I will need to check my loom
position as it seems to be not long enough !

Ive vey had the engine out for a while now and just finishing off and that seems to be alittle short as it just about reaches.

i will have to see why this is

would the the car start without this connected ?

I probably want to get it on a set a ramps to check it all over once running

Yeah, will run without this plugged in. You just won't have any reverse loghs

Cool . Just hard trying to get under the car I axle stands so may leave that until I get it on some 4 post ramps
