Gearbox sump plug help

Hello I am wanting to change the gearbox sump plug to a magnetic one on my 182, does anyone no were to get a magnetic sump plug or what the thread size is on the standard one so I can try find one for it?

M16x1.5. You can get a Gold plug which has a magnet built into it, but there's already a magnet inside the gearbox to pick up the metal particles?

Would you say it's not worth putting one on then?

I just no there not the best gearboxes so wanted to look after it the best I can lol

Yeah I wouldn't bother personally mate. If it had just been rebuilt, I'd say yes, but tbh it'll already be worn in there anyway I imagine.

It's the same size and thread as the engine sump plug but a little shorter. Im glad I saw @NorthloopCup 's reply that there already is a magnet as I was going to get a magnetic gearbox sump plug.
