Gearbox upper mount

Got a bit of a knock coming through the pedal sometimes when pulling away and when stopping. Ball joints seem ok and were recently done, so I'm thinking it could be gearbox side upper mount. Lower is a powerflex one.
Is it worth getting the OEM renault one of motorfactor ones ok and whats the price difference?

Ive just replaced all of mine, i got my gearbox mount from gsf it was £12.80 . I had the same knock as you and it was my top right engine mount. If you try and rock the engine back and forth you should be able to see if its the top 1 . Hope this helps

Well i'm pretty sure it isnt the ball joint, giving it a good shake and wiggle when jacked up I get no play in it.
Did you sort of feel the odd clunk through the pedal when braking every so often? Theres not a lot of movement when rocking the engine back and forth by hand mind you.

Gonna go pick one up tonight then probably swap tonight or tuesday. Isn't there a bolt on the underside of the mount that can come undone and cause issues too? I've never looked

All changed old one was fecked. Did the saxo one for good measure too, two birds one stone or rather one trip to the motorfactors
