ive noticed that in 2nd,3rd,and 4th you can hear a whining noise that changes in pitch with speed between 2 and 4000revs when cruisin along. its not the wheel bearings as it goes away when the clutch is in or out of gear. any ideas what this could be?
its got 88K on original box and clutch. apart from the noise the gearbox works fine. this car has no many squeaks and rattles
