gearbox :-(?

well started the other day, banging noise when i slowed down, also at high revs very vibraty!

just got home today in it and rversed into my drive a horrid banging noise when i reverse, thought it was because i released clutch to fast, so i double checked, and again it did it !

other gears seem to be fine and smooth at the moment, so worried grrhhh

how much are gearboxs for clio 182's (( ?

recon box i paid £500 for. Then labour, new clutch, GB oil etc etc and the VAT at the new rate it was just over a grand all in at birchdown on here
