Gears not as slick as before on Mk2 1.4RT

My gears seem to be a bit notchy these days on my Mk 2 Phase 1 1.4 RT. Just noticed it pretty recently, anyone else been having similar?

Probably needs the gearbox oil changed. Is it only happening when its cold or all the time?

Seems to be quite frequent mate, and you are right in the morning it is worse due to it being cold.

Will keep an eye on it and see if it gets worse.

BTW You were up earlyish this morning when I saw you!

If it’s just happening in the morning, it’s just that the gearbox oil is cold.

try greasing the gear linkage underneath the car?

Mines hellish first thing in the morning! Think its possible the garage that did my cv joints refilled with the wrong oil, will need to change it.

I think maybe that garage I had mine serviced at could have used the wrong oil too John as it wasnt as bad before!
