Nope. It's a stripped down 8800GT basically and the UK price at launch should reflect that.

8800 gt is a great card for the price, the gts 512 is slightly better for not alot more but for bang per buck the gt wins hands down

xfx, asus, bfg, evga they're all pretty similar, just you'llget better support with some. evga do an upgrade program i believe so might be worth a thought.

I have an overclocked Q6600 @ 3.6 Ghz with a 512mb 8800 gt, tv card, sound card, top fan, front fans, side fans, 4 hard drives and runs fine off an OCZ 600W supply.

500-600 is fine. Make sure its a decent one tho (Anything from Corsair, Antec, Seasonic, Zalman etc is good)
