Gen 90 or EC1

I am looking at getting one of these ecu's just wanting to know which one people have chosen to go for and why.I know that the gen90 is plug and play less hassle to fit but is more expensive than the ec1 which requires a different loom.
Is it as simple as that and its just a matter of choice.

Been covered before, I'm in the same boat, it works out pretty much the same to honest, personal choice.

I dont have any personal experience with the Gen90, but i have an EC1 fitted and if only for the expertise of TDF i'd take that route.

Dont let the different loom put you, all their installs are very tidy!

I think the most important question is why do you need either, before asking which one u should gopher

Bodies? The one that will pass an mot if that's needed otherwise the cheapest that will run the car to you requirements, remembering The Paul can map any of them

Both will pass MOT and both cost about the same, but IMO there is still only one choice!
