General paintwork/ fading questions

My roof is going grey guys, No matter what polish or restorer i use it keeps going back, what can i use to bring it back?

Pics would help lad. Might be worth looking into a machine polish by someone off here/Detailing world.

I used one last year, and built the polish back up, but it didn't last very long

Perhaps try something a little more abrasive? You only used SRP which is just fillers iirc?

Pointless messing about with it to be honest. Get to a bodyshop and get it painted Job done.

i cant afford that mate, im sure something can be done other than 'get it painted'

try a bit of ferecla g3 or some 3m fast cut. that should work on it mate.

Agreed get some G3 on there.

With all that buffing / polishing going on... the paint has no longer enough 'body' to hold the sheen.

I guess a new clearcoat would help.
