General Question bout everthing on the V6

i hear of quite a few people on this forum who own a v6 what i wanna know is like how old are you all lol

Id expect at least 24 or something. Also At that age is it Really expensive for insurence for one of them like say for e.g you passed at 17 and u had no claims up to the ages of 24 are they stil expensive to insure i would imagin they are

Its a group 20D car ... even with 7 years NCD at 24 thats gonna cost a lot to insure! Many of the V6 owners are somewhat older than that ;)

Yeah Daz thats rite.............its Stu here..............Im 20 with 50% NCB a clean licence and Im....................£2500 odd ....but at 20 its worth every penny

But thats about to fall through the floor come renewal eh :D

Also its a group 20G...........well it was for me anyway

And at 17......its like this.......no way........no.......no chance and never in that order...................sorry but thats just the way it is.

If youre 17 then get yourself on an accelerated bonus scheme and you will have 60% NCB just like me at 20.........although they would only accept 50% this year :(

I wouldnt of thought it would make any difference to an insurance company if you had a raceing license or not.

My bro had his V6 at 21........ Was about £1700 i think with 1 YNCB? Not to sure, A year later it went down to £1000!!!!

well a racing license shows that you are a qualified professional driver and they see this as you being able to use high performance cars properly...or so ive been told

Hi Little Newms...............I think the £1700 at 21 is probably about rite BUT NOT with only 1 YNCB..............I think youd need a good bit more probably 60% :(

Insurance companies really do shy away from the Vee..........some even have an age limit of 35

Just spoke to him mate, yeh thats correct, he is only insured for 3000 miles a year hence the low price, he uses another car on a regular basis

  clio v6

i got a motor trade ins and they wanted me to cap the driver limit at 30. i had to agree.

they said it was a group 20 b

wow. very impressive prices there lol. Its ok i wasnt concidering getting one lol i was just woundering how much it was for everyone who has one. By the looks of it, its killing everyone on insurence but it must be a very interesting car to drive.

Where do u go about Getting these special licenses because i love driving in every sense.

  Mk2 172 (Silver)

im 28, 5yrs+ protected ncb, clear licence and have quotes with an excess of only £150 for anything £770 upwards. this has got me thinking lol....

lol its amazing how much it is to insure the clio v6 which i kinda expected but i wasnt that sure since so many people on this forum seem to have one.

  Spec C 12.5@110 (345/355)

I got a quote of £700 odd quid for a 255 at 24, thats half the price the robbing barstewards take for the P1.
