Genesis Components

ok ive still not bought any speakers yet......

ive been told by a local shop that the best components for around the £150 retail mark are Genesis Profile 13

jus wonderin if anyone has these ?

still tempted by the DLS R5a which are a TalkAudio Forum favourite

DLS R5as are good, not my choice, but they are better than the genesis comps

hmmm....tough choice, both are very nice,

i would prob go for the genesis, not sure why, maybe to be different.

try and get a listen of both to see which ones you like best, where you based? i know huets in hove/brighton will have both for you to listen to.

anyone know of any audio specialists in the north west that have a few different makes on display for me to hear ?

preferably around St Helens/Wigan

i believe base systems (www.base-systems.co.uk iirc) are a half decent dealer, they are based in either bolton or blackburn (its after midnight and im still sober, i cant think straight)

they may be able to help

i do need some new front speakers, currently got some JBL coax in that have a small tear on one of the cone surrounds
