Genuine or Aftermarket

Car  Clio rs 172
Hi guys , planning on doing a front end refresh ,inner and outer rie rods , balljoints ,wishbone bushes ,as my steering feels dull and has generated alot of play what do you blokes recommend genuine renault or is aftermarket good enough ,any advice would be appreciated cheers

Just buy the complete wishbones from renault, they come with bushes and ball joints and they're like £60 a side iirc. Not sure if you can even get aftermarket but Renault is cheap as chips, my 172 was feeling a bit tired so I got new wishbones, springs, dampers, top mounts, engine mounts and track rod ends. Felt much better and after an alignment the steering wheel is steady as a rock at high speed whereas it used to wobble over 90 trotters, it is now still even up to 130 trotters.

Id love to get the parts from Renault though here in Aus Renault is rediculously expensive ,i know ktec sells the genuine wishbones , how bout the Inner and outer ends ??

Paypal someone in the UK the money for the parts and shipping to Aus?

Not sure how much the postage would be, but if the parts are that bad down there then it could work out cheaper? Is there tax on car parts? Never mind, send them as a gift

Who supplies genuine parts up there in the uk apart from renault either way it would be cheaper than buying from renault Australia.

Without speaking for them, they should be able to purchase anything from Renault and send it to you.
