I don't think BMW had anything to do with it tbh. It's got M10 in the registration which is a BMW engine series fitted to the E21 3-series cars. Possibly to the 2002 aswell.

It's defo a 2002 not an E21 tho, looking at the wiki pics. Lovely thing

2002 BMW's were fitted with the M10 motor which were also used in the BMW F1 cars of the time which apparently could knock out upto 1300bhp on qualifying!!!

Pointless bit of trivia = The turbo decal on the front splitter was the wrong way round so people could read it correctly in their rear view. But BMW decided to delete it due to giving off the wrong impression.
