get to 2000 revs and it shakes....

So I have a 54 plate clio, 1.2 16v and when I drive it especially when its cold (doesnt always happen) but I will take off in first no problem but then, If I go into second third or fourth and try get to 2000 revs it feels like it resists as such and sometimes the car shakes almost like it does when if its misfiring, and sometimes when im stood still as such and if I press on the accelarator then it will grrrrr a bit more and again shake, I have no idea what it is... and only brought the car last month so havent had it checked or anything so any help would be appreciated! I think it could just be sparks but if could be something more I would like to know!

Coil packs are a common problem on 1.2 16v's. I replaced mine and then all was well. If that failed though then it could be a spark plug problem, when were they last changed?

I had what sounds the same when I had a 1.2 16v which turned out to be coil pack, wasn't helped by the ageing spark plugs though. New coil pack and all was good.

Ye kinda! Lol, I have no idea tbh, I shall replace them and see what happens next!

Have you had a warning light on the dash yet? Does it happen all the time, the misfiring?

No warning light, doesnt happen all the time, but has been getting worse
