Getting CD out of a head unit

Right, say that there is a CD in a head unit that u want to take out, what other methods can i use to take it out?... coz i just put my new head unit in, and it took a lot of work to hide all the wires so that the head unit fit snuggly.

There is a CD inside my old head unit that i forgot to take out. Apart from taking the head unit apart to get to the CD, whch i dont want, is there anywhere i can take it to, to power the head unit up in order to get the CD out??

The sometimes have a small hole that you can put it a pin or something similar in to release the drive

Have a look at the cd rom on your computer that will be the same

I never thought of that, i know that theres a hole for a CD Rom, i will have a look later! thanks jack.

connect the earth to the earth on your battery and the positive to the 2 positive cables then just eject
