Getting cold air

Just bought a k&n 57i induction kit for my 1.2 tce.

anyone got any ideas on how i could get the cold air up to the filter? as at the moment it is stuck right at the back of the engine where it will jus suck in hot air..

any ideas??

take it off and chuck it in th bin, it will get plenty of cold air then.

you will struggle to get cold air into an open cone filter. tbh (no offence) its not worth getting cold air into a 1.2, you wont notice any difference.

I would bin it! I had a K & N and the hissing noise it produced got right on my tits! get a pipercross RAM filter, thats the best, just make sure you run another cold air feed or 5 from the front air intake.
