Getting youtube videos onto your Mac

How do people do it? Plan is to download the music and slap it onto my iphone or ipod but I'm unsure how to do it.

I can rip the video onto the mac by: window, activity, clicking appropriate file etc.
I assume I can then pop the entire video onto the pod/phone?

How could I get just the music? Possible?

Umm. Thats stealing. Go Google it, theres loads of sites out there that'll do it for you.
