Glasur Vs Carbon

Ive got Glasur at the moment, im wondering though is it worth downgrading to carbon as im rarely using it (even more so that ive got body wrap on)

What are the pros and cons to both waxes.

Also anyone fancy swapping a pot of carbon for a nearly new pot of glasur and some pennies my way?

Have you pm'd Chris yet mate? He has some Carbon and may be interested.

Truth being Glasur is better. £50 better? It's all subjective. Glasur beads and sheets water but Carbon is very very good. I'd be happy with Carbon and wouldn't worry as much about applying lots of layers as it's cheaper.

Galsur is just a little more special.

I agree with glasur being very special. But as i say i'm rarely going to use it at the moment with me having Body wrap on, i suppose i could keep it for whenever i do my mums car, but again that seems like a waste.

I thought about asking chris, but im not entirely sure on the decision.

Going to have to read up on carbon.

Glasur last longer (Not by much though!). Glasur keeps "like new" water behaviour a little longer (but not much).

Its no secret that I prefer Carbon over Glasur. I own both, its cheaper which means I dont mind using it more often, plus I always reach for carbon over glasur.

Ive never been able to decide whether Glaur actually warrants the extra money as Carbon is so good.

Well worth the money and is my favorite wax. Use the rest of the glasur up and buy carbon.

Whatever you want to know about carbon.......just ask.

Have a read mate. Go on DW and search Carbon under titles. Lots of threads to check. You've seen Chris' RB? It looked stunning wearing Carbon. Also Toby is on his umpteenth pot of it.

I would sell Glasur on especially if you're not using it. :) Carbon gives you that Zymol feel without the price tag.

I wont be using it up, its only had around 3-4 layers on my little clio so is virtually brand new.

Just having a read up on DW now.

I'm sticking with Carbon. More durable and there's not an awful lot of difference for me... certainly not worth the premium.

I'll be happy to be proved wrong though.

You see I might even just sell glasur and leave the wax until I decide what I need...

To be honest i'm not even sure why your debating which wax to use if you've got Wolfs Body Wrap on the car already? Completely defeating the object of Body Wrap surely?

Hate to jump in and steal a sale off anyone, of course first come first served and all.

But I would like to add that if you want to sell it, I would be happy to buy it off you.

Glasur is now up for sale guys :(

If there is enough interest i could possibly make a few tester pots up to sell on.
