Glove Compartment Lid

The glove compartment lid on my Clio rubs against the roll cage a little when I open it. I'd like to take it off to file down the outer edge.

Thing is, I can't work out how to get the damn thing off, does anyone know?

I don't think it's removable without breaking the hinges mate

Would be good to get it off & fix the common slant/gap you see when it is closed - could also be why it's rubbing on your cage.

drill out the rivets and then re do them with new ones after
