Glovebox light broken

It has never worked since i got the car less than a week ago. Does anybody know what kind of bulb it takes, im thinking it could be a broken bulb

I thought mine was broken, turns out it only works when the car's running. Checked that?

only works when the lights are on, but im sure its the festoon type

Yep works with sidelights too.
