Glow stick innards on textured plastic

Slightly random topic, but is it possible to get glow stick off of textured black plastic trim?

Being drunken tits, we thought it funny to open glow stick up onto a friend's car. He's super anal and knew he'd get wound up by it. Thanks to the 30+ layers of wax his paint is fine. But in our drunken haste we forgot about plastic trim, and it's not in a pretty state. So hopefully it'll clean off or we're buying him a new wing mirror.

OK buddy, start off with something like Meguirars All Purpose Cleaner and aggitate with a brush. Failing that, something like WD40 may break down the substance as it removes waxes/polish stains from plastics. Again, failing that, try the JML magic sponge (no I'm not joking!).

If your being a pikey you have three options

1. Smear peanutbutter on it
2. Rub a bit of vodka on there
3. Attack it with a heat gun (but don't leave it on there long enough to melt s**t)

If your doing it properly I'd probably first attack it with an all purpose cleaner of some sort and agitate well. Jet wash thefuck out of it, then apply some form of plastic car (AG/Megs Etc)
