Mustang, S13, AX GT
I have had so many problems since my crash in September, mostly revolving around the p*ss poor job of repairing it that H Samsons in Bolton did but this just takes the cake.
Today with the winds I went to get in the car, and the wind took the door out of my hand and blew it to the stop. The door skin has come off at the front of the door and the door has dents along the whole door. I cant open the drivers door now as it catches the wing and if I do open it, it doesn't close properly. The door skin was replaced in September, so it must be a bad repair. The door looks as though it has kinda bent and flexed forward, which is well wierd. I will get some pics up tomorrow but this is just so damn frustrating.
The garage did repairs to suspension, roof, door, wing, wheel and bumper. The only thing that has not seemed to have been done badly is the bumper. The suspension had components replaced except for a bent torsion bar. The wings were welded on and left with bare welds showing. The roof was repaired however the sunroof rattled worse than usual, and there was a wind noise coming through because when they put the roof back in they used a perished seal and they refurbished the wheel but didn't replace a carved up tyre because it wasn't a standard size tyre. And now this?? No matter what avoid that garage, you'd be better going to a breakers and then going and buying 'tomys my 1st tool set' to do the repairs...
