What this man said. The Milltek for my S4 is average at best. Once I've stuck a pair of K04 on it I'll take it to RS Fabrications for a decent pipe (maybe a balanced 2x2). The way the bracket has failed on the pipe is odd, granted it took a knock but I've seen welds take knocks and not fail. Maybe poor prep?

I wasn't comparing it to anything Ian just mearly stating that it sounded great. Considering the OE exhausts pops and bangs an aftermarket had a lot to get right.

TBH I'm old and like it as it is - super quiet on the motorway. The standard exhaust sounds pretty classy as it is, with subtle (sometimes not so subtle) pops and bangs when you're having some fun. I may consider changing it when the OE shows signs of age. My most likely first mod will be a remap. Some bloke got chatting to me at a petrol station a week or so ago, saying the decat is epic, but again I'm old and can't be arsed with lights on the dash etc.

Epic induction noise too. Sounds like Darth Vader drinking a milkshake.

Ditto the remap. Nice idea, but warranty would worry me, unless covered by Ford (mountune etc).

Love the noises!

I watched the evo video with that bearded fellow and it sounded great from inside the cabin.
I find most standard exhausts are wasted because only the people outside car hear it, the Focus seems to get the best of both worlds ie not being to intrusive.

Yeah bang on the money. Perfectly balanced IMO. Crack the window for more thrills. They really are brilliant cars. Many people get too hung up on silly debates about price and figures. The RS is about the drive. The fun.

Not sure mate. GGR & SCC both offer 12 months. TBH my only concern would be increased strain on the drivetrain.
