182 Aircon not working

I've had no air conditioning since I bought the car, but it's bloody warm here and I feel like it's time to actually get it working. The engine has been out once before and the mechanic noted that the Aircon was missing some seals so there was no refrigerant in the system. I have no idea what or where these seals are, but I feel like it's a good place to start so I can at least take it somewhere to get gassed up.

Any ideas on what these seals could be, or where to look to find out?

Mine didn't work when I bought it, gassed up once soon after, still ice cold to this day. If it didn't have working aircon I'd there's no way I'd still have it, aircon in a car is a basic human right as far as I'm concerned. I can't promise nothing else has broken since though
