Gonna buy a clio - Need some advice

Going looking at a 1.6 clio RXE S reg 98 26K on the clock.



Anything in particular i need to be looking out for on this puppy.



Its the bubble shaped one.

With that mileage on the clock it should be fine. Have a look at the buyers guide on the homepage - its for the 16v model but theres lots of good advice that applies to buying any car.

We had a 1.6RXE - nothing went wrong with it. Its the 8 valve engine, but youll find its still pretty rapid, and of course you get all the toys. If youre intending to mod it remember that a 3-door is easier than a 5-door in terms of availability of bodywork bits.

I am actually downgrading from a rover 200Vi



thats the 145 bhp VVC engine.



does a 0-60 in 7.1 but i need something cheaper on insurance and this is gonna save me 1100 quid !



Also my girlfriend is gonna be learning to drive so i need something she can get insured on.



The car is a 3 door bronze one.



Should look quite nice when kitted.
