Ide like to put my kenwood HU into my 172 but what would I need to fit it and hook it up to the wheel controlls??

You don't have to hook it up to the wheel controls, but if you do you will need to buy the harness to hook it up.

Normally you need to buy a certain one obviously, depending on the make of your headunit and the make of the car.

I do want to use the wheel controlls, bit of a waste otherwise. are the adapter cables for this easy to get hold of, is it just like an ISO lead?

h/u will fit no problems...

to use the stalk controls, you'd have to order the stalk control lead from autoleads....can get them through your local halfords...and its roughly £49.99....take 4-5 working days aslong as they have them in stock
