Just been looking on ebay at 172's, to see how much a decent one was going for. I came accross this...

Although the owner clearly states that the car has a number of problems, many of them easily fixable, i think it could be a decent investment, especially if the price stays so low. I was just wondering if anyone had any opinions on whether its a lemon and should be avoided?

Even if you can get it cheap it Sounds like a right lemon matey, avoid IMO. Could cost a small fortune trying to put it right. Quote Buy Cheap, Buy twice.

Are you looking to upgrade from the 1.6? Id save a bit more cash and by a half decent 1*2.

yeah thats what i was thinking, it does look a potential money pit. And as for why paypal only, it seems quite odd, i have it on watch so il see how it goes.

Not particularly looking to upgrade just yet, was just spying around as i would love one but probably couldnt afford one yet. Cheers for the advice
