Good Friday Project; Like glass.

Good morning,

Here's a few pictures from a part of the detail I did yesterday. I feel like the car is as clean as I've ever had it. Looks amazing, in my eyes.

I'm not completely finished yet, got trims, glass and two wheels / arches to finish. Which will be done this afternoon along with a host of new pictures.

The car was washed with AF lather, dried with uber towel. Machine polished with Mezerna P061S, hand polished with Zaino Z2, Prima Amigo & then AF Tripple. AF quick detailer used after each coat. Waxed with Zymol Carbon, and a another layer of QD and then Zaino Z6'd.

Wheels removed, arches all cleaned and coated in AF dressle. Wheels cleaned with bilberry and waxed with AF mint wheels.

I've not clayed the car in the two years I've owned it. Paintwork really doesn't need it.

I was unsure on where to use tripple, it's first time I've used it. In hindsight the little bit of cut will have taken away some of the other product.

Just doing other wheels as we speak. Painting calipers whilst I'm in there too.

Tripple has a slight cut in it so it probably would of stripped the Amigo back. Looking fab as always Mr Gill :approve:

Just done the RB182 this week and I've finished mine in Carpro Hydro2 sealant. Awesome stuff, highly recommended

Carbon - I love it. I've used more expensive waxes and for me, this is hands down better. I'm a sealant user in winter, but there is mother better than using a really nice wax.

I've got waxy box #16 on the way, so I will see what desire is like.

Update time;

Safe to say this is by far the best the car has looked in the combined 5 years I've owned it. It's only had paintwork on the bonnet and front bumper to sort out stone chips. It looks bloody superb for an 11 year old car.

I've managed to get the front calipers painted again today, so they are much better. No means perfect, they'll undoubtably burn off next time I do a track day.

Anyway, here's some pictures, with some epic reflections.

Where are you based?

I'm a big fan of Raceglaze '55' when I'm waxing, was tempted by the good reports I've read on these hydro sealants though so tried it for the sake of £12.
