go lower than that!!
2. 16 inch multi spoke alloys (not sure what one's yet)
Speedline Turinis or OZ Super Turismos
3. k-tec carbon clio sport style roof spoiler
4. k-tec splitter kit (dont want to go down sport bumper route like every1 else)
5. slight tint on rear windows

Performance

1. k-tec 1.2 16v sports cat
A lot of money for no gain.
2. pro-speed cat back exhaust system
3. k&n panel filter
4. enlarged cold air feed
5. k-tec ecu map for breathing mods
All of the above seem ok, wont really give you much gains but will make it much more responsive and better to drive, bit more low down torque which the 1.2 realy lacks

brakes

1. clio sport 172 front disc conversion
2. uprated drilled discs
3. green stuff uprated pads
Consts quite a bit to fit the 172/182 front brakes id just go for un auprated disk such as Brembo MAX, dont bother with drilled disks they just crack. greenstuff pads are fine on a 1.2 for fast road use thats what i used, and low brake dust makes them even better if your a clean freak!!

all opinions are welcome please thanks

Martin is probably one of the best people to speak to about the 1.2 as he tuned his a lot! Also Middo did a lot of work to his. In the end, as martin seems to be saying, it costs a lot for little gain.

You'll definately go lower, especially if you get coilovers. Look at Team Dynamics alloys as well, they are really nice and light, brakes just get uprated items rather than 172 conversion, as for spoiler, what colour is your car? The carbon spoiler looks crap on most, Cup or V6 spoiler looks much better. Also get it colour coded, rub strips, handles etc. Makes a huge differenfce

IMO

1. lower 30mm on coilovers (not sure of brand yet) - :)
2. 16 inch multi spoke alloys (not sure what one's yet) - Turrinis ftw
3. k-tec carbon clio sport style roof spoiler - Watch out for other company thats about to start doing carbon bits for clios, better value, thread recently about it
4. k-tec splitter kit (dont want to go down sport bumper route like every1 else) - same again
5. slight tint on rear windows - not to my liking

Performance

1. k-tec 1.2 16v sports cat - decat, and then use the cat for MOT - cheaper and better
2. pro-speed cat back exhaust system
3. k&n panel filter
4. enlarged cold air feed
5. k-tec ecu map for breathing mods

2,3,4,5 - just get a bigger engine, or better still a car with a bigger engine. If you can't insure it, wait till you can. You will end up spending a lot of cash and getting no gains

brakes

1. clio sport 172 front disc conversion - are you going to track this car?
2. uprated drilled discs - again, track? if not leave em
3. green stuff uprated pads - not as impressive as you might think tbh

all opinions are welcome please thanks - Good luck with it mate!

Bold
= Dont bother.

Dont get a shitty spoiler, get somethign like a V6 spoiler or a cup spoiler, if you absolutly want to.

Tinting is Chavvy

Dont bother with a sports cat on a 1.2. Get a decat pipe.

Cold air feed, no point on a 1.2, you wont see any difference, but the pannel filter will see your engine breathe slightly better.

Ecu remap is pointless on a 1.2, but with a decat you might get a little bit more.

Agreed but this is the case unfortunately for lots of Renault NA cars :(

As said dont bother with performance mods just stcik a good air filter on and a nice exhaust to make it sound fast ;) Mine made 85 bhp on a rolling road with sports cat stealth system and viper with custom feed which cost me a small fortune

  black 3 door clio 1.2 16v
thanks for the opinions guys i really appreciate it! what do you recomend for a good set of light weight alloys in a 16 inch fitment?

could somebody please do me a photoshop?? preferably on a black 3 door clio 2 phase 2 thanks guy's rob

Personally I would go with Team Dynamics ProRace 2's, but as you want multispoke, OZ do a lovely range and Team Dynamics ProRace1.2s are nice aswell, I'm at work so cant do a photoshop now, but get me a decent side on pic of your car and I will do it tonight
