Good place to start?

Never really been into detailing, i have washed, waxed, polished etc but never bought all the proper expensive kit. Most ive spent was on some dodo juice sample, which did give excellent results, especially considering i didn't polish before hand. So need to get some stuff together, i got the next 2 weeks off work so going to give it a good going over.

Anyway, going to order the following i think, anything else i forgot?

I already have some of my favourite car shampoo, some microfibre's and some recently aquired buckets, but do need a new mitt and applicator pads for the polish but cant find them on i4detailing.

I was going to clay but my paint is so smooth i dont think it's worth bothering yet.

Hi Mike,

What are you using the Snow Foam with?

EGP is good, but I'd personally switch it out for some Colli 845, which is quicker to apply, will bead better, and will last a little bit longer.

Otherwise, that looks good to me.

Unless your car is only a day old, I'd recommend claying it. You only have to do it once or twice a year, but it makes a hell of a difference !

Clayed Robbos car on the weekend, and that looked sparkling clean after 2 washes in two days. One wipe of the clay and the muck that came off .. :dead: it was quite amazing..!

Claying at this time of year would be silly. Still buy it though but dont clay it. You'l be claying it now and then again in a few months time.

Just my view of course.

PH neutral is a bit useless anyway.

How can you be sure what the PH of your water is etc etc? Using PH nuetral shampoo is fine as long as the whole solution is PH neutral. Otherwise just use normal shampoo.
