Good spam filter for mail?

Can anyone recommend one?

I am getting a hell of a lot recently, my iPhone/iPad handles the spam well and most of it is filtered out to junk. But the OSX mail app lets most of them through.

What mail account do you use? You can usually set up pretty good filters to stop spam in the likes of gtalk and hotmail.

Well, this is my yahoo mail account.

None of my others have issues and I do have spam filtering turned on on yahoo's side.

Is the spam from a certain address or IP? Does it always contain the same words like 'condoms' or 'want sex'.

Although not the best way, you could filter out emails containing them strings in.
